EEOC issues final rule increasing maximum penalty

Effective Immediately: The final rule issued by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) that increased the maximum penalty for failure to post or improperly posting the "EEO is the Law" poster just went into go into effect. The maximum penalty for federal posting violations is now over $36,000.
