Dr. Michael H. Corcoran was in the law enforcement field for over 34 years
beginning in 1968 and the threat/risk assessment field, when he entered the
United States Secret Service in 1970. Completing his doctorate in 1979 in
Behavioral Science, and utilizing his executive protection experience, he
specializes in identifying and handling potentially violent
subjects/environments and determining the best safety/security environment for
those he protected.

• Dr. Corcoran performs threat/risk assessments, determination of potentials
  for violence and safety/security environmental assessments for governmental
  agencies, law enforcement, Fortune 500 companies, schools and healthcare
  providers worldwide.
• He has spoken internationally, co-authored Violence Assessment &
  Intervention, The Practitioners Guide, has been voir dired as an expert
  witness on identifying violent individuals, and was a co-founder of the
  Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.
• Michael also served as the President of Henley-Putnam University from
  2004-2011, the only accredited school of its kind in the world granting
  Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Protection Management,
  Intelligence Management and Terrorism/Counterterrorism Studies.
